This work of linguistic nature wants to deepen one of the most peculiar varieties of Spanish found in the Hispanic-American context: the Chilean variety. First, the thesis aims to provide a theoretical framework for the key phenomenon of linguistic variation in the study of the different varieties. Secondly, it focuses on the sociolinguistic characteristics of the Chilean variety and finally, conducts a linguistic analysis of the music of the Chilean group "Inti Illimani", considering the previously outlined characteristics.
Este trabajo de carácter lingüístico quiere profundizar una de las variedades del español más peculiares que se encuentran en el panorama hispanoamericano: la variedad chilena. En primer lugar, la tesis quiere dar un marco teórico del fenómeno clave para el estudio de las diferentes variedades, que es la variación lingüística. En segundo lugar, focalizarse en las características sociolingüísticas de la variedad chilena y en último lugar, analizar lingüísticamente la música del grupo chileno “Inti Illimani”, teniendo en cuenta las características delineadas anteriormente.
