This thesis work aims to show how language can profoundly influence reality, contributing to the construction of relationships and the perception of conflicts. The analysis aims to explore the dynamics of conflict, paying particular attention to the idea that conflict should not be understood as an intrinsically negative element, but as an inevitable component of relational dynamics because it derives, according to the relational perspective, from manifestations of behaviors or attitudes that are not in line with the expectations of others. The discomfort of conflict is born from the way in which it is managed. From this perspective, we examine some typical behaviors of adolescents that can generate tensions in the family environment and the different interaction's modes of parental figures that affect communication and proximity. We examined common causes and psychological, biological and social factors contributing to the parent-child conflict, paying attention to the distinction between constructive conflict and destructive conflict. We explore the perception and resolution of conflicting dynamics from a socio - constructionist perspective, highlighting the importance of language because it influence family interactions. The objective is to raise awareness of effective communication and identify beneficial communication strategies such as active listening, empathy, emotional intelligence and not-violent communication that can promote a healthy management of conflict that promoting mutual well-being within the family.
