This thesis examines the concept of "care" in an educational key starting from a theoretical framework that outlines its essence and the main articulations - self-care and care for others - to arrive at a plural and dynamic definition. It is then shown how care is the fulcrum of an authentic educational relationship, in which the principles of a "caring" education and the central role of the educator as an agent of support and promotion of well-being are analysed. Finally, the reflection moves into contemporary society, with a focus on the tensions of individualism, on the conditions of discomfort and vulnerability and on the new challenges posed by the digital age. Here it is highlighted how educational care can become an instrument of inclusion, resilience and participation in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.

Abstract
This thesis examines the concept of "care" in an educational key starting from a theoretical framework that outlines its essence and the main articulations - self-care and care for others - to arrive at a plural and dynamic definition. It is then shown how care is the fulcrum of an authentic educational relationship, in which the principles of a "caring" education and the central role of the educator as an agent of support and promotion of well-being are analysed. Finally, the reflection moves into contemporary society, with a focus on the tensions of individualism, on the conditions of discomfort and vulnerability and on the new challenges posed by the digital age. Here it is highlighted how educational care can become an instrument of inclusion, resilience and participation in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
