In response to global megatrends and consequent transformations in the labor market, Diversity Management & Inclusion is considered as a strategic approach for organizations as it aims to leverage differeces as drivers of innovation, growth and organizational success. The Diversity Manager emerge sas a central figure in this process and this paper aims to analyze their professional profile within the Italian context. Starting from a review of the international literature according to the PRISMA model, interviews were conducted to investigate the specific knowledge, personal characteristics and key competencies associated with the Diversity Manager, highlighting their role as a change agent in Diversity Management and the implementation of inclusive practices.
In risposta ai megatrend globali e alle trasformazioni del mercato del lavoro, il Diversity Management & Inclusion si afferma come un approccio strategico fondamentale per le organizzazioni poiché mira a valorizzare le differenze come leva di innovazione, crescita e successo organizzativo. Il Diversity Manager emerge come una figura centrale in questo processo: il presente elaborato si pone l'obiettivo di analizzare il suo profilo professionale nel contesto lavorativo italiano. Partendo da una revisione della letteratura internazionale secondo il modello PRISMA, sono state condotte interviste a professioniste del settore con il fine di indagare le conoscenze, le caratteristiche personali e le competenze fondamentali associate a questa figura, evidenziando il ruolo del Diversity Manager come agente di cambiamento nella gestione della diversità e nell’implementazione di pratiche inclusive.
