Being a teacher today means facing significant emotional demands, often with the risk of stress and burnout. In this context, self-compassion is gaining attention as a helpful resource to support teachers’ well-being and emotional resilience. This study explored the effects of a short online intervention aimed at fostering self-compassion in secondary school teachers. Forty-eight teachers took part in the research, divided into an experimental group, which completed four weekly activities, and a control group. All participants filled out questionnaires at three different time points: before, right after, and one month following the intervention. Results showed a significant increase in self-kindness in the experimental group, which remained stable at follow-up. No major changes were found in the other variables, although some trends suggest a potential for broader effects. In summary, the intervention showed a limited but promising impact, suggesting the value of developing longer and more structured programs in the future.

No major changes were found in the other variables, although some trends suggest a potential for broader effects. In summary, the intervention showed a limited but promising impact, suggesting the value of developing longer and more structured programs in the future.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
