In today’s globalized world, individuals are in constant contact with different cultures, which leads them to adapt to the various personalities and specific traits they encounter. As society evolves, it has become essential to have figures capable of guiding and harmonizing these differences toward a shared goal. With this in mind, this thesis explores the relationship between leadership and multiculturalism within the corporate context, analyzing how a mindful approach to cultural diversity can represent a strategic asset for organizations. Beginning with the definition of a company and a deeper look at the role of leadership within organizational dynamics, the analysis then shifts its focus to multiculturalism and how it manifests in the business environment. Particular attention is given to the case of Amazon, a global entity where various challenges related to diversity management arise, along with numerous initiatives aimed at promoting inclusion and respect for cultural differences among employees. This case is subsequently compared with other inclusive leadership approaches, with the goal of identifying strengths, limitations, and possible areas for improvement. Ultimately, this work aims to provide a reflection on the increasingly central role of intercultural leadership in modern companies and on how it applies strategies to foster inclusivity and efficiency in the workplace.
