The thesis starts with an overview of the organizational structure of the company where the curricular internship was carried out, followed by the analysis of key economic and financial performance indicators. A significative decrease in the company's revenue in 2023 is identified, and potential causes are examined through the analysis of the competitive environment. Subsequently, a thematic analysis focused on the gravity model of trade is presented. The model explains the volume of trade based on the economic size of countries and the distance between them. After a concise theoretical framework, the model is applied to a case of bilateral trade relationship.
