Nella tesi verte sulla ricerca del termine "brutto", partendo dal suo significato all'interno della filosofia dell'estetica occidentale, si cerca di arrivare al suo valore all'interno della cultura orientale, nello specifico nel suo significato nipponico.
"Bruttezza": il modo in cui il wabi-sabi giapponese ridefinisce il concetto estetico del brutto.
