The paper addresses the placebo effect and how this can be a support for students with specific learning disabilities. In addition to the placebo responses, the nocebo responses are also explored and how, different individual and contextual factors, negatively influence and hinder expectations about individual responses and behaviors. A meta-analysis study on placebo and nocebo responses in randomized controlled trials of dugs for ADHD is also analysed. In conclusion, a behavioral proposal based on placebo effects is presented.
L'elaborato affronta il tema dell'effetto placebo e come questo può essere un supporto per gli studenti con disturbi specifici dell'apprendimento. Oltre alle risposte placebo vengono approfondite anche le risposte nocebo e come, diversi fattori individuali e contestuali, influenzino negativamente ed ostacolino le aspettative sulle risposte e sui comportamenti individuali. Viene inoltre analizzato uno studio di meta-analisi sulle risposte placebo e nocebo in studi randomizzati e controllati su farmaci per ADHD. In conclusione, si presenta una proposta comportamentale sulla base degli effetti placebo.
