The aim of this thesis is to shed light on the possible risk factors that can lead to the onset of Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD). In order to achieve this, a Systematic Review has been done, with main focus on the literature of the past 5 years (2020-2025), to retrieve the 11 articles this paper in based one. These studies cover a range of predictors that vary from environmental (cultural, clinical, socio-demographic, psychosocial...) to genetic (neurobiological, behavioral systems...). Following the results, the discussion shifts on the debate about Psychopathy and Sociopathy: two terms used to refer to antisocial personalities in the past decades, one focused on genetic components, and the other focused on epigenetic aspects, respectively.
