Linguaggio e attenzione nelle disabilità intellettive: progettazione e realizzazione di un intervento individualizzato

This thesis describes a training program aimed at enhancing language and attention skills in two girls: one with Down syndrome and one with unspecified intellectual disability. It begins with a literature review on intellectual disabilities, with particular focus on attention and language, followed by a description of the methods, hypotheses, objectives, and results. The aim of the thesis is to present the outcomes of the intervention and to analyze any differences that may be related to the different nature of the disabilities in the two subjects.

La tesi descrive un percorso di potenziamento delle abilità linguistiche e attentive condotto su due ragazze: una con sindrome di Down e una con disabilità intellettiva non specificata. Verrà innanzitutto presentata una revisione della letteratura delle disabilità intellettive con particolare riguardo ad attenzione e linguaggio, e successivamente verranno descritti i metodi, ipotesi, obiettivi e risultati. L’obiettivo della tesi è quello di illustrare i risultati ottenuti dal potenziamento ed analizzare eventuali differenze dovute alla diversa natura della disabilità nei due soggetti.
