This paper analyzes the phenomenon of laissez-faire leadership and its implications in organizations. After a brief overview of the current state of organizations, the definitions of leadership, despite the numerous existing conceptions, and of laissez-faire leadership, referring to the pioneering research of Lewin, Lippitt and White (1939), are illustrated. Subsequently, the effects of leadership, specifically and in-depth those of the laissez-faire style, in organizations are examined.
In questo elaborato vengono analizzati il fenomeno della leadership laissez-faire e le sue implicazioni nelle organizzazioni. Dopo un breve inquadramento della situazione odierna delle organizzazioni, sono illustrate le definizioni di leadership, nonostante le numerose concezioni esistenti, e, con riferimento alla pioneristica ricerca di Lewin, Lippitt e White (1939), di leadership laissez-faire. Successivamente, vengono esaminati gli effetti della leadership, nello specifico e in maniera approfondita quelli dello stile laissez-faire, nelle organizzazioni.
