In this thesis, an analysis was conducted on the technical and technological evolution of dairy cattle farming in the provinces of Padua and Vicenza. Through a farm-level survey applied to a sample of enterprises, it was possible to assess the evolution of livestock production structures in terms of size and construction, technological advancements, and management practices. This analysis was carried out by administering a multi-section questionnaire to the selected farms, which collected information regarding the owner’s educational background, the composition of the farm staff, the introduction of technologies and artificial intelligence systems to support farm management and reduce environmental impact, as well as the type of milking system adopted. The questions were designed not only to gather data on the current situation (as of today), but also to explore the future outlook (over the next five years) as perceived by the farmers in terms of their farms’ potential development.
Nel presente elaborato di tesi è stata condotta un’analisi dell’evoluzione tecnica e tecnologica dell’allevamento bovino da latte nelle province di Padova e Vicenza. Attraverso un’indagine aziendale applicata ad un campione di aziende, è stato possibile valutare l’evoluzione delle strutture produttive zootecniche, sia sotto il profilo dimensionale-costruttivo, tecnologico e gestionale. Tale analisi è avvenuta attraverso la somministrazione di un questionario a più sezione alle aziende selezionate, nel quale si richiedevano informazioni relative alla formazione del titolare, alla composizione del personale aziendale, all’introduzione di tecnologie e di sistemi di intelligenza artificiale a supporto della gestione aziendale e della riduzione dell’impatto ambientale, nonché al tipo di sistema di mungitura adottato. Le domande erano formulate non solo per raccogliere dati sulla situazione attuale (ad oggi), ma anche per indagare le prospettive future (tra 5 anni) delineate dagli allevatori in merito al potenziale sviluppo delle loro aziende.
