The aim of this research is to assess the effectiveness and usefulness in the daily teaching practice of the new basic Vocabulary, of 2016, compared to the previous basic Vocabulary, of 1980, by Tullio de Mauro. In addition, it will be investigated whether the new basic Vocabulary is functional and if the words are known or inherent to their language. The work was carried out in the following stages: present sentences with blanks (missing words) that the children which the children will have to complete spontaneously; provide the same complete sentences and ask for the meaning of neutral words entered by the graduate; final comparison.
La presente ricerca si propone di verificare l’efficacia e l’utilità, nella pratica didattica quotidiana, del nuovo Vocabolario di base, del 2016, rispetto al precedente Vocabolario di base, del 1980, di Tullio de Mauro. Inoltre, si cercherà di capire se, dal punto di vista scolastico, il nuovo Vocabolario di base è funzionale e se le parole sono conosciute o inerenti al loro linguaggio. Il lavoro si è svolto nelle seguenti fasi: presentare delle frasi con degli spazi bianchi (parole mancanti) che i bambini dovranno completare in maniera spontanea; fornire le stesse frasi complete e chiedere il significato delle parole neutre inserite dalla laureanda; confronto finale.
