This thesis aims to explore the impact of parental use of digital media on the family context, particularly on educational relationships and the development of children aged 0 to 6 years. First, the consequences of this behavior are examined, followed by an analysis of the individual, social, and cultural factors that lead adults to use technological devices and their media. An empirical study was conducted through two questionnaires – one addressed to parents and the other to teachers – in order to understand how parenting is changing in the digital age and what consequences this shift entails. Based on scientific literature and the findings obtained, a pedagogical intervention targeting families is proposed. By encouraging cooperation between school and home environments, the intervention aims to offer strategies and practical activities that raise awareness among adult caregivers, promoting a balance between the benefits of digital connectivity and the developmental needs of early childhood.

Abstract
This thesis aims to explore the impact of parental use of digital media on the family context, particularly on educational relationships and the development of children aged 0 to 6 years. First, the consequences of this behavior are examined, followed by an analysis of the individual, social, and cultural factors that lead adults to use technological devices and their media. An empirical study was conducted through two questionnaires – one addressed to parents and the other to teachers – in order to understand how parenting is changing in the digital age and what consequences this shift entails. Based on scientific literature and the findings obtained, a pedagogical intervention targeting families is proposed. By encouraging cooperation between school and home environments, the intervention aims to offer strategies and practical activities that raise awareness among adult caregivers, promoting a balance between the benefits of digital connectivity and the developmental needs of early childhood.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
