Burnout is one of the most relevant challenges in educational professions, affecting those who work with high relational intensity and emotional load in a significant way. This thesis analyzes burnout starting from its incidence in different professions, especially in educational ones, highlighting the predisposing factors and organizational dynamics that favor its onset. Protection and contrast interventions are also explored, focusing on training and care strategies able to strengthen individual and collective resources, promoting professional well-being. Finally, critical reflections on the state of the art of research are proposed, highlighting the limits of existing studies and future prospects for a training more attentive to the psycho-emotional health of educational workers. The aim is to offer concrete ideas for a rethinking of training paths and support practices in the care and education professions.
