Adolescenza e bisogni emergenti: la prospettiva del Servizio Sociale

The focus of this paper is on analyzing the complex transformation process that individuals undergo during adolescence, understood as a period of growth and change, as well as a valuable opportunity for identity definition and creative self-expression. The first chapter examines the major changes occurring at the neurobiological, physical, psychological, and emotional levels, as well as the transformations affecting social relationships. The second chapter focuses on pathological adolescence, highlighting the vulnerability factors and protective resources that impact young people's well-being, as well as considering the most common adolescent issues and emerging needs. Finally, the third chapter explores the role of Social Services, illustrating the importance of building trusting relationships, presenting dedicated services, and proposing innovative approaches and practices aimed at effectively addressing the identified socio-educational needs.

Il focus dell’elaborato verte sull’analisi del complesso processo di trasformazione che il soggetto affronta in adolescenza, intesa quale periodo di crescita e cambiamento, nonché preziosa opportunità di definizione identitaria ed autoespressione creativa. Nel primo capitolo, si esaminano i principali mutamenti che avvengono a livello neurobiologico, fisico, psicologico ed emotivo, così come le trasformazioni che investono le relazioni sociali. Il secondo capitolo, attenziona l’adolescenza patologica, evidenziando i fattori di vulnerabilità e le risorse di protezione che influiscono sul benessere dei giovani, oltre a prendere in considerazione le problematiche adolescenziali più comuni e i bisogni oggigiorno emergenti. Nel terzo capitolo, infine, si approfondisce il ruolo del Servizio Sociale illustrando l’importanza della costruzione di relazioni di fiducia, presentando i servizi dedicati, e proponendo approcci e pratiche innovative volte a rispondere efficacemente alle necessità socio-educative rilevate.
