Le disparità di genere nel mondo dello spettacolo italiano

This thesis aims to address the issue of gender inequality in the Italian performing arts, through the use of mainly websites and articles, and interviews directly with female workers in the performing arts. The first chapter will deal with a historical introduction to theater and the role that women have historically played in it, talking about Italian women artists who have been fundamental to the history of Italian performing arts. In the second chapter there will be a more legislative and numerical part, in which statistics will be given on the employment of women in the performing arts and what Italian legislation says about women in this field. The third chapter will discuss the influence of the Me Too movement in Italy and how women are represented in theater and film today. The fourth and final chapter will be devoted to interviews done with women workers in the performing arts.

Questa tesi vuole affrontare il tema delle disparità di genere nel mondo dello spettacolo italiano, attraverso l'utilizzo principalmente di siti web ed articoli, e delle interviste direttamente a lavoratrici dello spettacolo. Nel primo capitolo verrà affrontata un'introduzione storica al teatro ed al ruolo che le donne hanno storicamente ricoperto in esso, parlando delle artiste italiane che sono state fondamentali per la storia dello spettacolo italiano. Nel secondo capitolo ci sarà una parte più legislativa e numerica, in cui verrano riportate statistiche di impiego delle donne nel mondo dello spettacolo e cosa dice la legislazione italiana riguardo alle donne in questo ambito. Il terzo capitolo tratterà l'influenza del movimento Me Too. in Italia e come vengono rappresentate oggi le donne a teatro e al cinema. Il quarto ed ultimo capitolo sarà dedicato a delle interviste fatte alle lavoratrici dello spettacolo.
