During the COVID-19 pandemic, an increase in the incidence of frozen shoulder was observed. This thesis aims to analyze the rise in frozen shoulder cases during the pandemic period by investigating its causes and exploring the possible link between the condition and the virus. Furthermore, it seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy treatments and the adaptations implemented during this time.
Durante la pandemia del COVID-19, si è osservato un aumento dell'incidenza della frozen shoulder. Questo elaborato si propone di analizzare l’incremento dei casi di frozen shoulder durante il periodo pandemico indagandone le cause e ricercando il possibile legame tra la patologia ed il virus. Inoltre si pone l'obiettivo di valutare l’efficacia dei trattamenti fisioterapici ed i relativi adattamenti adoperati in tale periodo.
