The study aimed to identify the ideal growing conditions for the production of Cannabis sativa inflorescences with a high THC content, characterized by reduced variability in cannabinoid and terpene concentrations among plants. A mineral nutrition experiment was conducted in aeroponic cultivation, comparing two nutrient solutions with different ionic concentrations and two levels of electrical conductivity. The final analyses determined the plants' ionic uptake throughout the entire growing cycle, from transplanting to flowering.
Lo studio ha l’obiettivo di individuare le condizioni colturali ideali per la produzione di infiorescenze di Cannabis sativa ad alto contenuto di THC, caratterizzate da una ridotta variabilità nella concentrazione di cannabinoidi e terpeni tra le piante. È stato condotto un esperimento di nutrizione minerale in coltivazione aeroponica, confrontando due soluzioni nutritive con differenti concentrazioni ioniche e due livelli di conducibilità elettrica. Le analisi finali hanno permesso di determinare gli assorbimenti ionici delle piante durante l’intero ciclo colturale, dal trapianto fino alla fase di fioritura.
