This paper explores Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in childhood, focusing on educational strategies aimed at improving learning outcomes and overall well-being for affected students. By examining the main cognitive and behavioral challenges associated with the disorder, the study highlights the need for personalized and flexible interventions that address the unique needs of each student. Effective teaching techniques—such as clear and concise instructions, visual aids, and the breakdown of tasks into manageable units—are discussed, along with practical tools that support self-regulation and autonomy, including checklists, timers, and metacognitive strategies. The importance of an integrated, multidisciplinary approach involving schools, families, and professionals is emphasized, with the ultimate goal of creating a truly inclusive environment that enhances the potential of every child with ADHD.
Il presente elaborato analizza il Disturbo da Deficit di Attenzione e Iperattività (ADHD) in età evolutiva, con particolare attenzione alle strategie educative volte a migliorare l’apprendimento e il benessere scolastico dei bambini che ne sono affetti. Attraverso una revisione delle principali difficoltà cognitive e comportamentali associate al disturbo, il lavoro evidenzia l’importanza di interventi personalizzati e flessibili, in grado di rispondere alle specificità del singolo alunno. Vengono approfondite tecniche didattiche efficaci, come l’uso di istruzioni chiare, materiali visivi e attività suddivise in unità gestibili, nonché strumenti pratici per favorire l’autoregolazione e l’autonomia, quali checklist, timer e strategie metacognitive. Si sottolinea l’importanza di un approccio integrato e multidisciplinare che coinvolga scuola, famiglia e professionisti, con l’obiettivo di creare un ambiente realmente inclusivo e di valorizzare il potenziale di ogni bambino con ADHD.
