This thesis stems from an interest developed during my internship at a preschool, where I had the opportunity to closely observe how contact with the outside world can positively influence children's engagement and learning. In recent years, lifestyle changes and the increasingly frequent use of technology have reduced opportunities for free play outdoors, limiting essential experiences for children's growth and development. The thesis aims to analyze and compare educational activities conducted indoors and outdoors at preschool, focusing on the different ways children participate, learn, and experience experiences in the two contexts. In particular, it explores the concept of global development, understood not only from a cognitive perspective but also from a motor, relational, and emotional perspective. Through pedagogical references and direct observations conducted during the internship at the SS. Trinità di Schio (VI), the study highlights how outdoor experiences foster autonomy, creativity, problem solving, and active participation, allowing children to learn through direct experience and contact with nature. At the same time, the importance of the indoor environment, characterized by more structured and organized activities, is recognized. The aim of the research is therefore to understand the main differences between the two educational approaches and to reflect on the role of the educator in different contexts, highlighting how the balance between classroom experiences and outdoor activities can contribute to a more complete and meaningful educational journey for the child.

Abstract
The aim of the research is therefore to understand the main differences between the two educational approaches and to reflect on the role of the educator in different contexts, highlighting how the balance between classroom experiences and outdoor activities can contribute to a more complete and meaningful educational journey for the child.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
