This thesis examines the role of Narrative Medicine and pedagogical reflection as concrete tools for developing ethical, relational, and emotional competencies in contemporary educators. The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate how these approaches help place the individual at the center of care, enhancing personal narratives and fostering more authentic and conscious caring relationships. It is argued that integrating narration, critical reflection, and the ethical dimension can contribute to shaping educators who are capable of addressing complex situations, caring for others with empathy, and building relationships based on trust. The methodology adopted is primarily theoretical, drawing on both scientific and literary sources. In conclusion, this study highlights how care—understood both as a medical practice and as an educational process—is deeply interconnected and should be cultivated in an integrated manner.

It is argued that integrating narration, critical reflection, and the ethical dimension can contribute to shaping educators who are capable of addressing complex situations, caring for others with empathy, and building relationships based on trust. The methodology adopted is primarily theoretical, drawing on both scientific and literary sources.
