Starting from a historical excursus, motivation is analyzed from the point of view of behaviorist, cognitive and interactionist models. Explaining the difference between motivation, volition and needs, we move to a practical view of motivation, recounting various types of activities and techniques that motivate lower secondary school learners. In conclusion, the theme of motivation is developed starting from the internship experience by describing the activities carried out with individual students or groups of students.
Partendo da un excursus storico, si analizza la motivazione da un punto di vista dei modelli comportamentisti, cognitivisti e interazionisti. Spiegando la differenza tra motivazione, volizione e bisogni, si passa a una visione pratica della motivazione, raccontando vari tipi di attività e tecniche che motivano i discenti della scuola secondaria di primo grado. In conclusione, si sviluppa il tema della motivazione a partire dall'esperienza di tirocinio descrivendo le attività svolte con singoli allievi o gruppi di studenti.
