The DIRFloortime model represents one of the evidence-based approaches par excellence in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders because, starting from a careful analysis of individual differences, it supports the child in his emotional-functional growth through the active involvement of the family and using significant affective relationships as the engine of all learning. In this thesis I present the DIRFloortime® evaluation and treatment process, lasting 19 months, of a ASD child within a multidisciplinary team, following which significant improvements in the sphere of self-regulation, shared attention, involvement and two-way communication in the child and in the cargiver (mother).

Abstract
The DIRFloortime model represents one of the evidence-based approaches par excellence in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders because, starting from a careful analysis of individual differences, it supports the child in his emotional-functional growth through the active involvement of the family and using significant affective relationships as the engine of all learning. In this thesis I present the DIRFloortime® evaluation and treatment process, lasting 19 months, of a ASD child within a multidisciplinary team, following which significant improvements in the sphere of self-regulation, shared attention, involvement and two-way communication in the child and in the cargiver (mother).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
