La jihad delle ragazze

The thesis aims to reconstruct the birth and development of a properly Islamic feminism, that is rooted in the religious faith that sees in the Koran (القرآن, al-Qurʾān) the ultimate reference for every vision of the world, and in particular for the relationship between the sexes. A preliminary condition for giving legitimacy to a position that contextualizes the traditional male superiority is a profound rereading of the Koran, within what can be defined an interpretative feminism.

La tesi intende ricostruire la nascita e lo sviluppo di un femminismo propriamente islamico, cioè radicato nella fede religiosa che vede nel Corano (القرآن‎, al-Qurʾān) il riferimento ultimo per ogni visione del mondo, e in particolare per il rapporto tra i sessi. Condizione preliminare per dare legittimità a una posizione che contesti la tradizionale superiorità maschile è una profonda rilettura del Corano, nell’ambito di quello che si può definire un femminismo interpretativo.
