Immaginarsi il futuro: dalla percezione di sé alle credenze sul mondo del lavoro e dell'università

In a historical social condition in which career opportunities are multiple and constantly changing, it is essential to be aware of one's abilities, beliefs and perceptions that promote the motivation towards a career and life trajectory. With the critical issues that today's world presents and through the phenomenon of the spread of false news, it is easy to formulate discouraging expectations towards the future. The following research focused on a sample of two classes of students attending the third and fourth year of the Second Grade Secondary School in province of Vicenza, investigated perceptions and beliefs in reference to different aspects of the world of work and the university world with the aim to provide more useful information for adapting the target and the methods of support for guidance interventions.

In un contesto storico sociale in cui le opportunità di carriera sono molteplici e in continuo cambiamento, è fondamentale essere consapevoli delle proprie capacità, delle proprie credenze e percezioni che promuovono la motivazione verso una traiettoria di carriera e di vita. Con le criticità che il mondo odierno presenta e attraverso il fenomeno della diffusione delle "fake news", risulta facile la formulazione di aspettative sfiducianti sul futuro. La seguente ricerca, indirizzata ad un campione di studenti frequentanti il terzo e quarto anno della Scuola Secondaria di Secondo grado in provincia di Vicenza, ha indagato le percezioni e le credenze in riferimento a diversi aspetti sul mondo del lavoro e sul mondo universitario con lo scopo di raccogliere maggiori informazioni utili per l'adattamento del target e delle modalità di sostegno per gli interventi di orientamento.
