Dall'ipertesto ai social network: origini, sviluppi e importanza della rivoluzione digitale.

This thesis aims to deepen some of the steps that led to the birth of the Web, the moment of arrival of the first forty years of the digital revolution and a turning point for contemporaneity. A first and quick look at the historical-cultural panorama will open the introductory chapter. After that, there will be an in-depth note on hypertext and its diffusion which took place, for example, on CD-Rom. It will end with the history and the arrival of the Internet in the world, opening gaze to the Nineties. In the second chapter, the Web, blogs and tools are displayed and analyzed to understand how these have been preponderant elements that have changed various aspects of culture, society and the use of digital tools. The third chapter will instead be a critical and objective look at social networks, their potentials and their risks, starting a personal reflection on what is proposed in the thesis.

La seguente tesi si propone di approfondire alcune delle tappe che hanno portato alla nascita del Web, momento d’arrivo dei primi quarant’anni della Rivoluzione digitale e punto di svolta per la contemporaneità. Un primo e veloce sguardo al panorama storico-culturale apriranno il capitolo introduttivo. Dopodiché, ci sarà un’approfondita nota sull’ipertesto e sulla sua diffusione avvenuta, per esempio, su CD- Rom. Si concluderà con la storia e l’approdo di Internet nel mondo, aprendo così lo sguardo sugli Anni Novanta. Del secondo capitolo, invece, Web, blog e tools vengono visualizzati e analizzati per capire come, questi, siano stati elementi preponderanti che hanno modificato diversi aspetti della cultura, della società e dell’utilizzo delle strumentazioni digitali. Il terzo capitolo sarà invece uno sguardo critico e oggettivo sui social network, sulle loro potenzialità e i loro rischi, avviando in questo modo a una personale riflessione su quanto proposto nella tesi, da capo a coda.
