In this experimentation, the effects that the organic cultivation technique has on the potato cultivation were observed. 5 varieties were considered: - Alouette - Twister - Prince - Agila - Agria Agronomic data were collected during the entire crop cycle and, once the harvest reached maturity, sampling was carried out to determine the characteristics of each cultivar. From the experimental test it is observed that organic cultivation has had a different effect on the production performance of the five potato varieties as regards: average weight of the aerial part, production, average weight of tubers and number of tubers. It can be said that: - Alouette is the cultivar that has obtained the best production results and number of potatoes; the same cannot be said for the average weight of the tuber and the number of salable potatoes. - Twister did not stand out as a cultivar, obtaining the worst average weight of the aerial part and production. - Prince had the best average tuber weight, the best percentage of salable tubers and a good average weight of the aerial part. It did not give good answers in terms of production, obtaining the worst number of potatoes and number of healthy tubers. - Agila recorded the highest number of healthy tubers and a good percentage of salable tubers. - Agria had good production, average tuber weight and percentage of healthy tubers. In conclusion, if a comparison is made with the study Crop growth and tuber yeld of "early" potato crop under organic and conventional farming by Ierna and Parisi, it can be seen that the Prince cultivar, which in the experimentation had the best average weight of tubers, obtained better results than the Bionica and Marabel varieties analyzed by Ierni and Parisi. Agila and Agria had similar behavior to Marabel, while Twister fits into the midweight range similar to Bionics. Generally speaking, the cultivars have responded well to the organic cultivation technique. By taking the appropriate steps to monitor and defend against abiotic and biotic stresses, results comparable to conventional cultivation can be achieved.
