Are we blind to objects of affection? What does it mean to see "things" when they are immersed in a world of meaning in which memory and recall are involved? Is it possible to speak or respond to affective objects after the baptismal event has transformed them into "things"? And above all, what kind of constellation is created in the art of collecting? Starting from these aesthetic and theoretical questions, the present work intends to take into consideration and reconstruct some writings of two great contemporary authors, Jacques Derrida and Walter Benjamin. On the one hand, Derrida, working with deconstruction, reflects on the difference between visible and invisible, vision and blindness, presence and absence; on the other hand, Benjamin, costellator and astrologer, who reflects on the affective relationship with "things" in relation to the figures of the collector and the infant.
Siamo ciechi davanti agli oggetti d’affezione? Cosa significa vedere le “cose” quando esse sono immerse in un mondo di senso in cui è implicata la memoria e il ricordo? È possibile parlare o rispondere agli oggetti affettivi dopo che l’evento battesimale li ha trasformati in “cose”? E soprattuto, che tipo di costellazione si viene a creare nell’arte del collezionismo? A partire da queste domande estetiche e teoretiche, il presente lavoro intende prendere in considerazione e ricostruire alcuni scritti di due grandi autori contemporanei, Jacques Derrida e Walter Benjamin. Da un parte dunque Derrida, il quale, lavorando con la decostruzione, riflette sulla différance tra visibile e invisibile, visione e cecità, presenza e assenza; dall’altra invece Benjamin, costellatole e astrologo, il quale riflette sul rapporto affettivo con le “cose” in relazione alle figure del collezionista e dell’infante.
