In this thesis, a classification of quantum systems will be conducted, focusing particularly on non-interacting fermionic systems. This classification will be achieved through an analysis of the symmetries that define them, notably time reversal and particle-hole symmetry. Such categorization is valuable for comprehending the properties of certain materials, such as topological insulators and superconductors.

Abstract
In this thesis, a classification of quantum systems will be conducted, focusing particularly on non-interacting fermionic systems. This classification will be achieved through an analysis of the symmetries that define them, notably time reversal and particle-hole symmetry. Such categorization is valuable for comprehending the properties of certain materials, such as topological insulators and superconductors.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
