This paper seeks to reason about two constructs, Down syndrome, and Executive Functions, and analyze how they interact on a general level but also, more specifically, how they were studied by the EXPO project, an executive function enhancement program for preschool children with Down syndrome. The main purpose of the paper is to focus more on the medical field related to the project. In fact, during the course of EXPO a questionnaire about their child's general medical history is administered to families. Thus, the goal is to go and see if there is a correlation between the answers given to the previously mentioned questionnaire and the scores gained in the tests measuring executive functions.

Abstract
This paper seeks to reason about two constructs, Down syndrome, and Executive Functions, and analyze how they interact on a general level but also, more specifically, how they were studied by the EXPO project, an executive function enhancement program for preschool children with Down syndrome. The main purpose of the paper is to focus more on the medical field related to the project. In fact, during the course of EXPO a questionnaire about their child's general medical history is administered to families. Thus, the goal is to go and see if there is a correlation between the answers given to the previously mentioned questionnaire and the scores gained in the tests measuring executive functions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
