In recent years, the control of Scaphoideus titanus has been of crucial importance in the Veneto area. The use of the right molecules in combination whit the right sprayer is essential for its control and for the control of other insects harmful to the vine. This research analyzes the differences that occur when using 3 different types of sprayers (mechanical crushing, pneumatic crushing and mechanical crushing whit recovery). For each sprayer the population of S. titanus, E. vitis and Z. rhamni were analyzed during the vegetative period (before and after treatments) in addition to this the population of thideids, Phytoseius finitimus, Panonychus ulmi and Amblyseius andersoni were analysed. This is because probably the different distribution methods of the phytoiatric mixture also influence the different populations. As regards the mechanical part, tests were carried out on the distribution of the phytoiatric mixture for each sprayer, analyzing how the mixture is distributed, the percentage of coverage and the density and size of the drops.
