Nanomaterials are materials with at least one dimension smaller than 100 nm. The properties of nanomaterials are important and useful at a technological level because they exhibit different properties compared to so-called bulk materials of homologous chemical composition. These properties also depend on the shape, size, aggregation, etc. of the nanoparticles, so by controlling these characteristics, the properties of the nanomaterials themselves can be finely modulated, for example by changing the color, the melting temperature, the electrical, catalytic, magnetic, mechanical properties, etc.

Abstract
Nanomaterials are materials with at least one dimension smaller than 100 nm. The properties of nanomaterials are important and useful at a technological level because they exhibit different properties compared to so-called bulk materials of homologous chemical composition. These properties also depend on the shape, size, aggregation, etc. of the nanoparticles, so by controlling these characteristics, the properties of the nanomaterials themselves can be finely modulated, for example by changing the color, the melting temperature, the electrical, catalytic, magnetic, mechanical properties, etc.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
