The aim of this paper is to examine various approaches to the study of the human psyche in a systemic way, beyond the psyche-soma dichotomy. The term "systemic approach" refers to a study that considers the entire organism as a psychophysical unit, meaning that psychic phenomena are viewed in a bidirectional relationship with physiological and pathological somatic manifestations. From this perspective, the present work also focuses on certain aspects of those Eastern disciplines that, throughout their millennia-long history, already foresee a conception of humanity as whole, without a division between the psychic and somatic realities, considering the different systems of these entities as interconnected. Therefore, this work seeks to identify some relationships between the most modern Western scientific discoveries and Eastern traditions.

Abstract
Therefore, this work seeks to identify some relationships between the most modern Western scientific discoveries and Eastern traditions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
