This research examined the complex and multidimensional construct of creativity, its development over time and how it manifests itself. In the first chapters, a theoretical review was made of what has emerged in the literature to date, in which a number of approaches and study models to this construct were presented: attention was paid to its relationship with fluid intelligence, divergent thinking and in particular with the constructs of creative self-efficacy and creative personal identity. Based on the literature, in my research contribution, a battery of New Tests was administered to assess divergent thinking, repurposed from the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT); the tests administered included the New Objective Tests for assessing divergent thinking, the RAT (Remote Associates Test), the NEPSY-II Verbal and Graphic Fluency tests, the CIFT (Culture Fair Intelligence Test) and self-report questionnaires such as the CMS (Creative Mindsets Scale), the RIBS (Runco Ideational Behaviour Scale), the SSCS (Short Scale of Creative Self) and the BESSI (Behavioral Emotional and Social Skills Inventory) The New Divergent Thinking Tests were evaluated taking into account the criteria of fluency, flexibility and originality. The data were analysed in view of the objective of the present research, namely to examine the association between the constructs of creative self-efficacy, creative personal identity and performance on the New Divergent Thinking Tests, also taking into account the role played by fluid intelligence.

Abstract
The data were analysed in view of the objective of the present research, namely to examine the association between the constructs of creative self-efficacy, creative personal identity and performance on the New Divergent Thinking Tests, also taking into account the role played by fluid intelligence.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
