Adolescence represents a critical developmental phase characterized by significant psychological, emotional and social changes. During this period, many adolescents face uncertainty about the future, which often raises concerns related to identity, school performance, and family expectations, thus increasing the risk of developing anxiety symptoms. Findings in the literature highlight that difficulties in emotional regulation and intolerance of uncertainty are significant psychological predictors of the onset of anxiety symptoms in adolescence. This paper aims to explore the effectiveness of storytelling as a tool to improve emotional regulation, reduce uncertainty about the future, and alleviate anxiety symptoms in a sample of Italian adolescents. In particular, it examines how the use of narrative techniques can influence uncertainty management and promote psychological well-being among adolescents, comparing the effects of storytelling with those of interventions based on music listening and the creation of collective playlists.

Abstract
In particular, it examines how the use of narrative techniques can influence uncertainty management and promote psychological well-being among adolescents, comparing the effects of storytelling with those of interventions based on music listening and the creation of collective playlists.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
