Aloe barbadensis, known as Aloe vera, is one of the oldest medicinal plants; it is used in various fields such as cosmetics, medicine and food. This plant originates in southern Africa; it consists of long, greyish-green leaves. Inside is a gel composed of 99% water and the remaining 1% is rich in components such as polysaccharides, sugars, minerals and others.
L’Aloe barbadensis, conosciuta come Aloe vera, è una delle piante medicinali più antiche; viene utilizzata in diversi settori come quello cosmetico, medicinale e alimentare. Questa pianta ha origine nel sud dell’Africa; è composta da foglie lunghe, di un colore verde grigiastro. All’interno si trova un gel composto per il 99% da acqua e nel restante 1% è ricco di componenti quali polisaccaridi, zuccheri, minerali e altri.
