The paper I am proposing deals with the topic of probiotics. They can be found in supplements, medicines and foods, especially dairy products such as yoghurt. They can also be combined with prebiotics, thus taking the name of symbiotics, which are more effective. The term probiotic has had a long history, culminating in the definitive term used today by FAO/WHO. Probiotics have several beneficial effects on human health, such as treating diarrhoea, limiting symptoms related to lactose intolerance or problems related to depression. Recent studies are finding a close correlation between probiotics and symptoms related to Covid-19.

Abstract
The paper I am proposing deals with the topic of probiotics. They can be found in supplements, medicines and foods, especially dairy products such as yoghurt. They can also be combined with prebiotics, thus taking the name of symbiotics, which are more effective. The term probiotic has had a long history, culminating in the definitive term used today by FAO/WHO. Probiotics have several beneficial effects on human health, such as treating diarrhoea, limiting symptoms related to lactose intolerance or problems related to depression. Recent studies are finding a close correlation between probiotics and symptoms related to Covid-19.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
