Letture in movimento: relazione tra linguaggio e motricità. Una ricerca con bambini di età prescolare.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the complex process linking mind and body. The direction of the research focuses on the dynamics and correlations existing between mind, body and bilingualism, with a particular focus on the factors influencing the progress, stages and development of pre-school children. The first phase of the experimental research was devoted to the individual assessment of language and motor skills using standardised tests, followed by the assessment of working memory and creativity. Subsequently, in the second phase, ad-hoc tests were administered concerning the target words and complex movements in the reading in motion intervention. The third phase was the intervention itself, followed by the final administration of the ad hoc tests with the aim of assessing the vocabulary of the newly learnt words and any improvements in the execution of the movements. Finally, with the purpose of considering educational opportunities in the various contexts of the child's life, an ad hoc questionnaire was administered to the parents.

Il presente elaborato si pone l’obiettivo di analizzare il complesso processo che unisce la mente al corpo. La direzione della ricerca pone il focus sulle dinamiche e sulle correlazioni esistenti tra mente, corpo e bilinguismo, con un’attenzione particolare ai fattori che influenzano l’andamento, le tappe e lo sviluppo dei bambini di età prescolare. La prima fase della ricerca sperimentale è stata dedicata alla valutazione individuale del linguaggio e delle abilità motorie tramite test standardizzati, seguita dalla valutazione della memoria di lavoro e della creatività. Successivamente, nella seconda fase, sono state somministrate delle prove ad hoc inerenti le parole target e i movimenti complessi presenti nell'intervento di Lettura in Movimento. La terza fase è stata l'intervento stesso, seguita dalla somministrazione finale delle prove ad hoc con l'obiettivo di valutare il lessico delle nuove parole apprese ed eventuali miglioramenti nell'esecuzione dei movimenti. Infine, allo scopo di considerare le opportunità educative nei vari contesi di vita del bambini, è stato somministrato ai genitori un questionario ad hoc.
