Parental Phubbing has become a phenomenon of growing interest in recent years as a number of critical issues in the parent-child relationship have been found related to it (Roberts and David, 2016; Liu et al., 2021, Xie and Xie, 2020). Parental phubbing is defined as the behavior whereby parents ignore their children in order to pay more attention to their smart phones (Wang et al., 2020). The following study investigated the impact of a parent training course based on well-being and quality of life in relation to parental phubbing in a sample of n=28 parents of children aged 2 to 5 years attending preschools in the Vicenza area. The study was divided into three stages: the first administration of the questionnaires took place in April 2024, then the parents participated in parent training lasting 6 meetings on a weekly basis while the second administration took place between May and June 2024. Following the parent training, a more functional use of the telephone with reduced levels of nomophobia and self-isolation was found in parents. A general improvement in children's behavior was also reported particularly in relational difficulties with peers. The results obtained were discussed with reference to current studies in the literature.

Abstract
Parental Phubbing has become a phenomenon of growing interest in recent years as a number of critical issues in the parent-child relationship have been found related to it (Roberts and David, 2016; Liu et al., 2021, Xie and Xie, 2020).
