Starting from the Theory of Work Demands and Resources, this thesis aims to analyze the concept of work engagement, examining its characteristics, components, as well as antecedents and consequences. The research emphasizes the importance of creating a balance between work demands and resources, highlighting how such a balance can foster greater engagement in male and female workers. An important role in this process is played by leadership, in particular by engaging leadership. The latter is distinguished by the leader's ability to motivate and support employees, promoting a climate of well-being in the work context. Through a theoretical analysis, the ways in which engaging leadership can positively influence work engagement are explored, acting as a resource for well-being within organizations. The thesis concludes by examining organizational strategies that integrate theoretical approaches and practical models to support well-being and work engagement, also proposing the analysis of two business models: those of Adriano Olivetti and Brunello Cucinelli. Olivetti, with its innovative vision, and Cucinelli, with his commitment to the beauty of the workplace, are two models that respect the principles of engaging leadership and offer numerous examples of its practical applications, also suggesting that attention to the quality of life of the individual can translate into positive results for organizations.

Abstract
Olivetti, with its innovative vision, and Cucinelli, with his commitment to the beauty of the workplace, are two models that respect the principles of engaging leadership and offer numerous examples of its practical applications, also suggesting that attention to the quality of life of the individual can translate into positive results for organizations.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
